Executive Summary

Hootsuite is trusted by more than 18 million customers and employees at more than80% of the Fortune 1000. Our unparalleled expertise, customer insights at scale, andcollaborative ecosystem help people and organizations succeed with social.

For more than 10 years, I have developed and executed strategies and campaigns that connect and engage brands with their core stakeholders to drive meaningful results. This includes creating and executing programs, strategies and campaigns for the likes of Hootsuite, Microsoft, the Vancouver Aquarium, Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing, RPS Energy, Tourism Vancouver and lululemon, to name a few.

I take great pride in developing and leading high performing teams that consistently achieve their personal and professional goals. I am also deeply motivated by a passion for corporate social responsibility and driving social impact – as part of this, I find meaningful ways to use my time and skills to support people of all ages and backgrounds, and to be kinder to animals and our planet by working with a variety of organizations such as Women in Tech World, Futurpreneur Canada, the BC SPCA, MondayGirl.ca, Protect Our Winters Canada and Make a Wish Canada.

Outside of the workplace, many of my greatest lessons have come from experiences and new environments. I have been very fortunate to live and work in multiple countries, including England, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Australia, and Canada. 

Key objectives we set out to achieve

Hootsuite partnered with Stepup.One and provided us with their state of the art Enterprise Platform as well as armed our team with their training.

In order for us to put what we learnt to practice, Hootsuite engaged one of our Stepup.One graduates for six months. They not only gave us a hands-on training but also allowed our Refugee Graduate to create, curate and post for their 8 million+ followers.

How did we do on those Objectives

  1. We had all of our refugee graduates certified by Hootsuite
  2. We prepared and executed a social media brief along with the Head of Social Media for Hootsuite.
  3. We measured the impact and re-designed our creative to make an even bigger impact while posting.
