Ayushi is an experienced founder of a non-profit aimed at connecting underprivileged help staff members (such as cleaners and chefs) employed in schools and universities to students of these institutions. The startup is currently an official voluntary course at Ashoka University and goes by the name of Ruhi. Ruhi allows students at Ashoka University to transfer a range of skills like English, Mathematics and computer skills to help staff members to make them more marketable.Alongside this, ayushi has done several independent research projects particularly studying the mental health and livelihoods of those in rural communities in India. Her volunteering experience expands to teaching at the Agasthya Foundation and The Reaching Hans Orphanage where she taught Math, Science, art and dancing to underprivileged children.Ayushi has also previously worked part-time as a marketing intern with Procter and Gamble and IMRB International and as an advertising intern with McCann. She also worked as teaching assistant to an undergraduate clinical psychology course in 2017.
