We all have to come forward and lift each other up. I believe making someone skilled is the best possible gift you can offer. #refugee #Growth @Step_up_One https://link.medium.com/mOK11js4bib

77% gross enrollment ratio in the primary is commendable, it is amazing to see that this is better than 7 countries latest data- https://lnkd.in/eMKUr9D While 31% GER in secondary and 3% in Higher is stark, it is the current reality and we must make the best of this situation.

@wef It's been 2 years since we started our journey of Reskilling and Employing Refugees at the #Kakuma Refugee Camp. We have scaled from our 5 pilot team to 50 @Refugees graduates in 2020 and on our way to becoming 500 by the end of 2021. This is our story @wef @NRC_Norway @DRC_ngo

A running start for a new nation. Wishing #SouthSudan a hopeful & healing 10th anniversary ! This was also a brisk & refreshing beginning for my assignment as ad interim Resident/Humanitarian Coordinator for South Sudan .

It's been more than a year since we started our journey of reskilling refugees and finding them opportunities that pay. So far we have learned a thousand ways why some things did not work but we have also learned a few that worked like magic. One of them is @LumenFive videos.@wef

We will always be grateful to those who opened their doors and saved the lives of many Kosovo🇽🇰refugees 22 years ago. On #WorldRefugeeDay , we express gratitude and vow to never forget ©UN Photo/R LeMoyne

Kenya's Kakuma camp houses more than 200,000 refugees and asylum-seekers.

And Lynne is helping them with their mental health.
